Hi,

I just discovered a strange phenomenon.
(ADSM 3.1.2.40 on AIX 4.2.1).
Yesterday I created a new disk stgpool for a
directory mgmt class so that all directories
will be stored to disk. I created the mgmt
class "dirmc" with a backup copy group that
points to the "dirpool" and that has a copy
mode of "absolute". I activated the
policy set. On the client node (AIX) I included
the option "DIRMC dirmc" in the dsm.sys and
restarted the client scheduler. The backup
completed successfully. When I do a "query
backup" all the directories are bound to the
dirmc mgmt class and they also can be restored.
I did the same with an NT client.
Now, when I do a query content of the dirpool's
disk volume, only the directories of the NT client
appear. The "audit volume" command shows me that
only 46 items have been inspected, what are the
NT directories. The AIX directories also do not appear
in the content of the volumes of the standard
mgmt class. Even when I create new directories on
the AIX client and do a selective backup, the
directories are not listed in the content of the
dirpool volume although they are bound to the
dirmc class.

Where are the directories stored?????
