We too have a 3995 optical drive and are running AIX 4.2.1. This is a screen
dump of my ADSM drive configuration, followed by some setup instructions I
created for configuring the drives to ADSM. The drivers for this device come
from ADSM but I am not sure if they are part of the base ADSM or only found in
the extended device support module...
I hope this helps!

Subject: 3995 C64
Hi,
We have a customer with an IBM 3995 Optical library, model C64. I have two
questions regarding this device:
1. Where on the web can I get device drivers for it?
2. In ADSM as what device class do I configure the four drives and the media
changer?
Thank you,
Andries.
