Yes, there is a problem.  Check the ADSM server log for error messages, and
your opsys error logs for probable indications of a disk problem.
Correct any problems which are reflected.
In your case, the /var files were affected but not the /u00 ones, indicating
some error with the /var file system in general.

However, I've seen this happen with NO indication in ADSM or the opsys (AIX)
as to any problem, during *SM operation (not bring-up).
Do a Vary On, ASAP, to get your mirroring back: you are at risk right now.
