If you look in the .h files for the routines you will see the lengths...
There is volume, path, & filename...
I had looked a while  back on the AIX code but can't remember specifics
now...
I believe the filename is 64 and the path is 256 & volume is ??? or maybe
the volume was 256 & path was 1024
Just double check the .h files
