My favourite topic.
The important thing to note is the *SM for NT will only be able to process
Japanese filenames accurately if the NT installation is Japanese (or some
other double byte version).
If your NT server is running English and your users store files on it from
Japanese workstations then you are playing Russian Roulette - sometimes it
works, sometimes not - its not supported and IBM documented this in the 3106
client README.
