I do not think that this works, because AFAIK each log volumes contains
the names of all log and DB volumes.

Perhaps it is possible to do a point in time restore of the DB since that
does not need the recovery log, but I do not expect it to work.

Probably the only way is to reformat the still existing log volumes
(or better take new ones, in case you should need the old ones later):

dsmserv format <nlog> <logname1> <logname2> ... <ndb> <dbname1> <dbname2> ...

This will rebuild the dsmserv.dsk file.

You should then be able to restore the DB
(point in time restore, something like:

dsmserv restore db dev=... todate=...

or:

dsmserv restore db dev=... vol=163B8D commit=yes
).
