A couple of weeks ago an announcement was made by Qualstar about the new
Ultrium LTO tape library availability.  Unfortunately, the anticipated ship
date is to begin in January, 2000.  (ie: they are not available yet.)

I have received a Qualstar configuration with Sony AIT-2 tape drives at 50GB
per cartridge.  Does anyone on the discussion list have experience with Sony
AIT tape technology?  Good, bad or indifferent?
