I'm running ADSM server on Windows NT server, service pack 5.

Suddenly, I'm getting media errors almost constantly with ADSM v3.1.2.40. I
can't use either DSMLABEL or the Label Libvol. If I do, the labeling
process works, as does the checkin process. However, when I try to use the
tape, I receive ANR8302E, or ANR9726E, or any one of a host of other
media/drive related errors, and the tape becomes unusable.

The library manufacturer swears it is a software problem because their are
no hardware errors.

I'm at the point where I can't use the library at all except with tapes
that were formatted when the product was originally installed.

I've checked and re-checked the element ID's in the Drive definitions, they
are correct.

Please help.
