A schedule can have an action of either incremental or archive. There is no
"difference" between the an automated archive and the central scheduler.
Once you execute the scheduler it goes and finds out what it's next scheduled
event is. In our case, on the 28th of each month it does the regular daily
schedule at 22:30:00 and then when that's done the next schedule it finds is
the monthly archive schedule at 23:00:00. Our two schedules look like this:

            Policy Domain Name: STANDARD
                 Schedule Name: DLY1030P
                   Description:
                        Action: Incremental
                       Options: -subdir=yes
                       Objects: f:\*
                      Priority: 5
               Start Date/Time: 11/25/1997 22:30:00
                      Duration: 2 Hour(s)
                        Period: 1 Day(s)
                   Day of Week: Any

Well, I wish that I could set the record straight (whatever it is). But, I
don't have the knowledge to determine the automated archive process from the
server schedule!! Help someone?
