The data would still be on the cartridge and an extry in the database until the
tape was reclaimed. At that point valid data would be placed on a new tape and
the old tape returned to the scratch pool.
Have you tried doing an explicit move data nnnnnn (where nnnnnn is the volume)
, then doing a q content to see if the expired data still shows?

Fabiano,
there is a special utility in the $DB2INSTANCE/sqllib/adsm directory called
db2adutil. With this tool you can delete/mark inactive your db backups in
ADSM/TSM. If your management class/backup copy group for db/2 backups has
"Versions Data Deleted" set to 0, the next expiration your deleted/inactivated
backup should disappear from *SM.
