I'd check with Saint Bernard Software.  They make a product called Open
File Manager that works with most all backup solutions including ADSM.  You
can download a 2 week, full-working demo from their web site.

Anyone knows how to back up Netware Btrieve database files without
stopping the database application? Netware version 4.11, Btrieve version
6.15.451.
