Boy, do I know all about this...

First, there is a bug in .40 that won't allow multiple simultaneous
operations with AIT2 drives, so you will need .41.  Second, .41 does not
recognize native AIT2 drives so you will want to configure the switches on
the drives to have them emulate AIT1 drives.  This does not cause them to
write at the lower densities, however, so you won't lose any of the capacity
you paid for.

Then you can do a normal define libr, define drive and define devclass.  You
will use the 8mm devtype with format=aitc for the define devclass.

TSM 3.7 fixes all of this.  You can leave the drives as AIT2 and they work
fine.
