Tom

Kelly has a good way of doing it, but another way to skin this cat is one I use
that is similar to yours - I have .bat files set up to load the clients. Before
I execute the programs, I set two variables... DSM_CONFIG and DSMG_CONFIG. My
file looks like this:

SET DSM_CONFIG=D:\PROGRA~1\IBM\ADSM\baclient\DSMU.OPT
SET DSMG_CONFIG=D:\PROGRA~1\IBM\ADSM\baclient\DSMU.OPT
DSMADM.EXE
SET DSM_CONFIG=D:\PROGRA~1\IBM\ADSM\baclient\DSM.OPT
SET DSMG_CONFIG=D:\PROGRA~1\IBM\ADSM\baclient\DSM.OPT

This works for me.

Tom,

The other way to do this, and maybe even easier is to use the
tcpserveraddress switch on the dsmadmc command line. You can create a
shortcut on your desktop using this method. That way you don't need
multiple .opt files.
