I also have encountered this problem.  It is unacceptable that you have to load
Netscape on *any* workstation with which you want to access other
clients/servers  via web-- especially when you consider most of the non-*nix
boxes are running windows 95/98/NT-- which includes IE in default installations.

I am especially disheartened with this *feature*, since TSM 3.7 has removed the
Admin Gui, thus leaving only the command line and the web admin client.

This will be a BIG bummer if the same bug exists in the TSM code!! (I just went
to the *new* TSM 3.7 training, but the training provider had disabled IE
entirely-- they were using Netscape-- so I was unable to test/play/break the NEW
Web admin client :-p

I also have seen this java security error when accessing the NetWare and NT WEB
clients from my Win95 desktop.  I was able to solve the problem by reinstalling
Netscape Navigator.  I installed Netscape version 4.61.  I neglected to make
note of the version I had prior to installing v4.61.  I would try reinstalling
your existing version, version 4.61 or 4.07, which I know also works.

Using  the webclient - interface of an adsm-client (v3) running
on a NT 4.0 (5) "workstation"
is successfull from some netscape 4.05 - installations.

on others (NT4.0 (SP 5) and DEC-Unix) the gui cannot be loaded:

security violation: security cannot define package: java.awt"
##############################################################

although this might be more a java- than an adsm-issue
I would be thankfull for a hint.

(I don't see any difference in the netscape-preferences.)
