Rene,
I would verify what patch level you have installed on your NetWare server.  For
NetWare 4.11, you should apply either IWSP6a (CLIB v4.11o) or NetWare Support
Pack 7a (CLIB 4.11q).  If you have NetWare 3.x, apply the latest patches for the
OS.  This is the run of the mill response but valid none the less.  You
definitely want to verify your patch level first.  Also, make sure there are no
memory managers loaded on this server from DOS in your boot files
(config.sys,autoexec.bat) before SERVER.EXE loads.

We are running NetWare 4.11 with both support packs mentioned above.  We are
using the v3.1.0.7E client with no problems.  We do not have problems doing
archives.  Our server version is 3.1.2.40  on MVS.

I believe that the 3.1.0.7E client is the latest ADSM client for Novell.

Hello,

since we use new OS/390 server 3.1.2.40 and client 3.1.0.7e, the Archive
command does not work any more on Netware. The archive results in a severe
ABEND and the entire Netware server gets down.
Command used: archive sys:\* -subdir=no -archmc=arch_he

Has anyone tried to archive on Netware with the last Adsm levels? Do you
know this problem?
