... what leads to a real conflict, as you usually have to use the option
USEUNICODEFILENAMES OFF
when you have national characters in your filenames.

Now on an NT-server with both standard fileservice and a Macintosh Filespace
what should you do:
Use two nodenames and two scheduler service instances with the proper
include/exclude settings or
Make your Mac-Users use products like DAVE that allow direct access to the
NT resource. 

Even with DAVE you are not really save that there will be no problems with
filenames, but with some tuning of DAVE it seems possible to prevent invalid
filenames to be written.

I think it mainly depends on how many Macintoshs you have in your network
whether the first or the second method makes a better fit.
