Hi,
 
it's now 15 months that we are using ADSM (server on MVS, clients on NT and
UNIX). 
 
From the beginning, the "access another user" function in the
backup/archive-client doesn't work. 
 
After installing TSM NT client 3.7.1.0 I hopefully tried this function
again. But when I open the RETRIEVE window I only see the node name of the
"other user" in the directory tree, but no archive versions.
 
So I must change the node name in the dsm.opt to the "other user" (as always
in the last 15 months). When I now open the RETRIEVE window I can see the
node name and all archive versions in the directory tree window.
 
Is there anyone who has ever successfully used the "access another user"
function?
If yes, I will be thankful for any suggestions how to run the function
successfully.
