I've got a DLT 15 tape library, I also installed and configured a
external DLT drive (the library has one inside). So there are now two
libraries (one manual, one automated) and two drives (one in the
library, one external; on the SCSI chain). Basically I've got volumes
checked out from the library sitting outside, not updated offsite or
anything like that. Just taken out and replaced with some scratch
volumes.
My problem is, I've now got to do a restore. Instead of going through
the hastle of removing a scratch tape from the library, checking in the
volume from the REQUEST into the library (because it's part of this
group I checked out). I'd like to just checkin the volume into the
manual drive. The problem is the manual type library doesn't allow
checkin libvol, and I can't seem to see a "mount" command. I've got the
drive configured correctly, or at least I thought so, and the volume is
in the drive.

just now is the devclass is specific to one library. Is that an issue?
How should I have configured this. I'm guessing this shouldn't be that
hard, but maybe I'm missing something.
