Restore only changed files since a date

OK, sometimes the easy ones are the hardest...

I am trying to only restore (on AIX, client 3.1.0.6) files changed since a
certain day.

dsmc restore /oracle/stage/* -subdir=yes -todate=10/10/1999 -totime=12:00:00

Is restoring everything, including the files that already exist, and don't
need
to be restored.

I only want to restore files since the sysback was taken, not everything.

Help!
