My apologies. I had made the assumption that the Connect Agent wasn't this
smart.
You are correct. It does delete associated log files. Wish I'd noticed this
earlier.

        Chris,  as others have pointed out, the VERDELETED parameter of the
backup copy
        group
        used for the exchange agent should be set to 0 so that the agent
delete and
        autodelete commands
        will actually cause the backup objects to be deleted (next time
expiration is
        done on the server).

        Nathan, I'm not sure what you mean by your comment:

        When a full backup is deleted by the autodelete command, all
associated
        incrementals are deleted with it
        so that no worthless incrementals are left around.  Are you seeing
