Jeff -
Make sure that the following NLM's are loaded:
TSA410.NLM
TSANDS.NLM ( If backing up NDS From the Netware box )
SMDR.NLM
DSMCAD.NLM ( This is is Web nlm for ADSM and may require the full path to
load if you have not created a mapping to the location. For us its LOAD
SYS:\ADSM\DSMCAD.NLM )
When you launch your web browser be sure to use the following syntax
Either http://servername:1581 ( If you have the server name in DNS lookup )
or http://ipaddress:1581
port 1581 is the default port. If you specified a different port then you
will have to substitute your port #.
Good luck -
CR

Jeff,
There is no backup-archive GUI other than the web based GUI. And
this
should work for you. If not, please post the error message you are
getting and allow us to help you.

Subject: Restores with ADSM on Novell Nodes
We are attempting to run restore functions to Novell nodes with
ADSM. We
would
like to be able to handle this at a central location, preferably via
some
sort
of GUI. At this point the only way to perform this function that we
are
aware
of is via the server console or remotely with Novell Rconsole. The
backup
archive GUI does not work, and the Web client does not appear to
work
either.
Tivoli ADSM support has told us that it cant be done. Has anyone
run into
this
situation, or might be able recommend some sort of utility that
would be
able to
handle this function?
Thanks,
Jeff
