The NetWare client may have a compressed file system but I think it probably
de-compresses it before ADSM get's it. I would disable the compression on
the Unix clients and let the DLT compress the data. I think you are right
about file size increases and I've seen with AIT drives copies between tapes
take very long times when the data is already compressed and tape drive
compression is turned on. Either way I wouldn't do both, one or the other.
