"notes" is the Lotus term for the client software
"domino" is the server part

So the Lotus Notes connect agent should actually be called "Domino connect
agent".
To answer your question: since the "backup-tool" is ment to be running on
the server you habe to install the "Notes Connect Agent" on the "Domino
Server"

Am I right in assuming that the Connect agent for Lotus notes is the same
connect agent to use for Lotus Domino?
