Hi All.

Before everyone gets upset, I know its been handled in the archives and
i have also checked the ADSM FAQ's but am still slightly confused .
so.... i would like someone who is running an AS 400 ADSM client to
clarify. Am i right in assuming that.

a. To backup the AS400 to an ADSM server runnning on RS/6000 i need to
install the ADSM API client on AS400 and use the ROBOTSAVE command. or

b. Use the BRMS package writing to the ADSM API client on AS 400 but
then the operating system version of OS400 needs to be at level 4.3 or
later...

Is BRMS a separately licensed product or does it come included with the
os400 software or would i have to purchase it separately????

would this allow me to backup all files (i.e. system and data files) on
the AS400??????
