Steffan,

I'll probably take some time this week to solve this problem, even if it
takes a full recovery from one ADSM Server !

I understood that the ADSM Export was exactly the "piece" of the database I
needed to inform the local ADSM server that a new client was registered ...

I will try to make clear the situation : I DON'T want to recover my ADSM
SERVER (i.e. the database backup) on the new site. I DO want to recover a
single client ... If restoring my ADSM database is the only solution, no
good ...

To make matters worse, I won't use copy pools, I will the data backup tape
pools themselves (only one drive on site ...).

I will see what I can do.

It is a pitty nobody on the list can help us over here ... What does it
take to get some attention from the gurus and experts ? This problem is not
 an unusual situation ...

thanks, Steffan
