Hi,

Some of the stuff that I had learnt during ISS:

1. It is a bad idea to have migration take place while backups are running.
This will really slow down everything.
2. Spooling to disk is single threaded. If you have multiple clients
sending data to just one disk spool volume, only one of the clients can
write to it. You should really have as many disk spool volumes as the
number of parallel backup clients you have.

Disk is cheap, add more disks to your disk spool pool, get all your backups
to disk and then manually initiate migration to tape.

I hope my $0.02 helps.
