I'm using the AIX client 3.1.0.7 on 11 SP2 (silver) nodes for 3 weeks now .
I don't have problems with the backup/archive client.

I discovered problems with the API client and older (7.23 uc5) versions of
informix. There is no problem with informix 7.30. Another thing I have seen
yesterday is that the trace facility with the API client 3.1.0.7 doesn't
work.
