Hi Robert,

We had a similar problem with backup-archive-clients. Our maximum
number of clients was reached and the q sess commands displays:

 5,033 Tcp/Ip IdleW 59.3 M 63 4 Node
 5,034 Tcp/Ip IdleW 59.2 M 63 4 Node
 5,036 Tcp/Ip IdleW 56.4 M 63 4 Node
 5,037 Tcp/Ip IdleW 56.3 M 63 4 Node
 5,040 Tcp/Ip IdleW 53.5 M 63 4 Node
 5,041 Tcp/Ip IdleW 53.4 M 63 4 Node
 5,042 Tcp/Ip IdleW 53.3 M 63 4 Node
 5,044 Tcp/Ip IdleW 51.9 M 63 4 Node
 5,045 Tcp/Ip IdleW 50.6 M 63 4 Node
 5,046 Tcp/Ip IdleW 50.5 M 63 4 Node
 ....

We had to wait until the idletimeout was reached or to shutdown
the server in order to cancel these sessions.

Best regards, Kirsten
