In the manual appendix there is a session about it.

If you want to use ADSM Scheduler, create another service upon dsmc sched,
make a .CMD file in the client that makes the backup commands and use the
COMMAND=xxx.CMD when defining the Schedule in the ADSM Server.

Or you can use NT scheduler, simpler to implement but harder to control
logging. I find loggin very important.
