We backup NDS nightly and I have done successfull restores. The problem that
you are having is that the NDS user ID that has been assigned to the client
that you are doing the restore from does not have the proper NDS rights
assigned. Check the users effective rights to make sure that it has
supervisor object and property trustee rights. You should then be able to
do your restore.
