I don't think you will need to export and import when migrating between two
AIX systems. I think you can do something like the following:

1.Stop all client sessions.
2.Force all disk storage pool contents to tape.
3.Backup the ADSM database to tape.
4.Allocate and format files for the ADSM database, recovery log, and disk
storage pools on the new system.
5.Recable the tape drives to the new system.
6.Restore the ADSM database to the new system.
7.Start ADSM on the new system.
8.On the new system, delete disk storage pool definitions from the ADSM
database and define new disk storage pools to match the files allocated in
step 4.
8.Begin client backups on the new system.
