Did you stop and start the ADSM Schedule service?
To test the excludes interactively, use the backup GUI and look at the files
in question. If you excludes are working, there will be a red X in the box
next to the file. Once you have that working, you only have to stop and
start the scheduler service and ADSM will do the right thing.
