Make sure you are not doing delhist on dbbackup tapes. If you do, Drm will lose track of then - hence never get returned from offsite...

Recently our operations group did a manual (physical) audit of the tapes
that are off-site. Interestingly enough we found that there were quite a few
tapes that ADSM did not know about. We have been totally relying on the DRM
function to manage the movement of tapes.
Has anyone else seen this? I seem to remember another thread awhile ago.
What actions have sites taken to prevent such a situation.
