We had 2 boxes 9710 running with acsls which means two additional daemons
on the adsm server box and an additional unix box which carries the control
sw. Some smaller problems, but solved now, I think.

But we had larger problems with the dlt7000 which were in the box, and, as
far as I read the list, I was not alone. Due to the backup technique of
adsm (incremental) it is extremely important to have good drives and media.
Only a small amount of media errors might kill your whole backup strategy.
