I believe meg is the default. You would need to "run extend db 1000". Before
hand run the q db f=d command and make sure of the amount of extension that
is available.

                The volume I just formatted is 1G.
                I know ADSM uses 4m rounding against the total space you
specify on the EXTEND
                command.

                Would the format be EXTEND DB 1000?
