I've done this several times for several customers moving up to bigger tape
libraries.

1. Point your new backups to the 3494 via your copygroups

2. Keep your 3575 library online in case a user needs to restore data

3. Optionally, start issuing "move data volser stg=3494pool" commands for
each tape in your 3575 to the 3494.
