Well, there is one way, and it might not work.  You can restore your adsm
server to some previous point in time by restoring an old db backup.  If the
tapes where the file you need have been reclaimed and reused, this won't
work either.

This is not recommended as a solution, but it can work.  But it's an
enormous pain in the keester.  Keester being a technical term...
