couple-o-things...
use "find" to see if there exists any other "dsm.sys" files on the
system that might be getting used...
also if you start a script file (to catch the output) you can perform
a "dsmc q opt -pass=blah" to see exactly how & what is set... Oh, you
have to capture the output 'cause the -scrollp=yes DOES NOT WORK with
the "q opt" client command (IBM: HINT, HINT ! ! !)

I am backing up a HP-UX client to a HP-UX server but the entries in dsm.sys
are being ignored.
For instance, the inclexcl statement doesn't have any effect.
Thanks in advance for any clues you can provide.
