Try renaming the dsmstat file to another name or installing the
version of the client code and setting the nfstimeout parm to
something other that the 10sec default.

I have a NT client at 3.1.0.5 running on AIX/ADSM v3.1.2.0

This server1 has a local C: drive and a remote share to server2 as
\\SERVER2\E$

the dsm.opt file to server1 has DOMAIN C: \\SERVER2\E$

Why does the backup run successfully if invoked from the DSMC command line but
fails with the following error when run via a schedule?

\\server2\E$ is an invalid drive specification
