Hi ADSMERS

i have a client who is running ADSM v2.1..... on AIX .He has weekly and
monthly schedules for archiving.There is a weekly_pool where the weekly
backups(archive) go to and the monthly pool where the monthly
backups(archive) go to.Then there is an NT client which whenever a
weekly backup(archive) runs, the tape in the monthly pool is mounted
then dismounted and then a tape in the weekly pool is mounted and then
it  writes to it.

What amazes me is why should a monthly tape be mounted instead of a
weekly one.
