Hi,
You must have the volhist.out file and the devcnfg.out file in order to
realize a correct DB restore operation (it means, when you have
realized the full db backup, this tape must stay in the robotic of
course because the volhist.out file contains all slots and tape inside
!!)
After install the 3.1.2.20 adsm, you must define the same Db space
(format it) and the same log space (format it also) and you stop adsm.
After you run only the adsm scsi drivers to enable you robotic work and
you will can run the dsmserv restore db todate=today.

I realise it last weed and all seems ok.
