Hi Paul,
we had  a similar problem with our ATL 6/176 Library. The handling of
the I/E Port failed. The APAR IX85858 in Server Level 3.1.2.20 fixed
all of this. There is new driver code for the libraries. Try to
upgrade to 3.1.2.20. I did it with no problems.
