Thanks VoAn. I verified the copygroups as you said. I don't see
any abnormalities here.
Thanks,
Angel

Hi Angel,
The first thing I would verify here is the definition of your archive
copygroup.
Make sure that all your archive copygroups are using the correct
destination
for the storage pool.

Subject: Tape contains both "Archive" and "Backup" file types.
Hello Everyone. Something strange, or I think it is, with one of our
tape volume. This volume contain both "Backup" and "Archive"
file types? The volume in quetion belongs to a "AIX1_TAPEPOOL which
is the Next_Storage_Pool for a "AIX1_DISKPOOL" which is the
"Primary". This volume should contain only "Bkup" files. I looked
at
our archive storage pools and none of them points to "AIX1_TAPEPOOL"
as the next storage pool.
I looked at the activity log and it showed it was mounted but it does
not
tell me what process using it. The volume contents showed an archive
process wrote to it but it does not show when and what time.
Is there anyway I can tell what process last wrote to the tape
volume?
