Donald,
I don't have any experience with the two libraries you mentioned nor with
AIT, but we have had a couple of ATL DLT libraries (a 7100 and a P3000).  I
am impressed with their products and their support.  We had a few problem
tapes when we first got the P3000, but we replaced those tapes and haven't
had problems since.  They have a broad range of libraries, but I'm not sure
which model would fit your requirements.  Their web page is at
