Hello Adam,
While I do not know for sure what your problem is, there
were problems related to having over 2 GB of free space on
the disk. Also, the user must be logged in as Administrator
in order to do the install (just in case that is the problem).
In any event, I recommend the latest version, which is a
fixtest for version 3.1.0.6. It is available on the ADSM ftp
site, index.storsys.ibm.com in directory
/adsm/fixtest/v3r1/win32/intel. The fixtest name is
IC22732Q2. Be sure to read the IC22732Q2.README.FTP file for
download instructions.

"The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked."
Hello adsmers,
I'm having a bit of trouble installing the ADSM backup/archive client
onto only one of our NT machines. When I run the install program, it
appears as though nothing happens! Checking Task Manager reveals that
the CPU is maxed out and the ADSM setup is running, but I can't see it
anywhere. I haven't had this problem installing ADSM on our other NT
machines.
Has anybody seen this before? The client version is 3.1.0.3
Thanks for your time!
adam
