We have been using buta to backup our AFS cell for about 3 months now. We're
running server version 3.1.0.0 and buta.afs34a.patch.51149. After some initial
hiccups, everything runs fairly smoothly now. We're still working at sizing
the disk storage pools and getting the right number of tape drives to support
multiple buta backup streams.

We do not use the archive parts of ADSM, nor have we tried the file/directory
backup for AFS. We do use the file/directory backups for local disk space on
servers and workstations from many different vendors with different OS's.

Are there configuration and tuning guidelines available for using buta with
ADSM?
