I did not know about the SHOW MP command.  When (if) it all happens again -
which I suspect it will, I will try that.
I called the support center about the errors I got and was told that they
were messages indicating a deadlock in the database that were being taken
care of by the server.  Supposedly, the server would keep trying to reclaim
the tapes and eventually would succeed.  We finally recycled the server and
the tapes were reclaimed.  I will be watching it carefully over the next few
days to see if it is a recurring problem.  Having a "deadlock" for over 4
hours with nothing going on that we could see on the server, will be a
problem. . . but I will try to be hopefull.  Since we are just beginning to
go into production with this server, I don't have a lot of data out there
yet and it may be a few days before reclamation happens again.
