Alan,

If you are scheduling the backups by using a command file, the only real
way to check is by looking at log.dsm.  Depending on how your environment
variables are set, this log will either be in the connect agent directory
or the Notes data directory.  We have created another solution, but it is a
lot more complicated.  I would be happy to share this with you if you'd
like.

Good morning,

Thanks to all who responded so quickly to my first request for help.

My next question has to do with verification of completed execution of the
backups. Our ADSM administrator tells me that she has no way of knowing if
the Agent backups ran successfully. I find this hard to believe. First, is
see correct? Second, can some one tell me how to find this information. I
believe that our ADSM server is AIX but it could be VM. All I really need
here is a quick pointer and what page in the manual or where in the on-line
docs I can find the information.
