dsmc - restore filename not dir/filename

If I do a:  dsmc restore "/home/write1/tracing/bus04*" /tmp/write1/
the files are restored as /tmp/write1/tracing/bus04...
where as I wanted /tmp/write1//bus04...

How can I prevent the "tracing" node from being used as part of the restore?

AIX 4.2.1  ADSM client 3.1.0.6
