Hi folks,

we are planning to do the following:

a user is sitting on his pc and is signed on to a NT domain.
his home directory is a mapped share of the NT server
the server is backed up by an ADSM server
the user must perform a restore of his own files using a browser!

my questions:

1. how does ADSM respect the users file rights? ADSM must allow restore of
files, for which
the user has rights and must denie restore of files, for which the user doesn't
have rights.

2. how is the problem handled that the user's sight of his files is different
from the
servers sight (H:\name\... of the users share corresponds to D:\users\name\...
on the server)?

Does ADSM allow us to do this or do we need 3rd party software?

TIA
